Our Designers:

Custom Framing Designer

Sarah Kersting, the owner, has been framing at Howard's since 2007. She trained under a Master Certified Picture Framer. She has her bachelors degree in photography. She has won awards for her creative picture framing. She is the driving force behind Art for the Animals (AFTA), our annual fundraiser for an animal charity. She specializes in framing photography and paintings.

Custom Framing Designer

Robert Farmer joined the Howard's team in June 2016 with about 4 years of previous framing experience. He has his BA in education, BFA in painting, and MFA in painting. Robert is also was an adjunct art professor at Shepherd University.

Custom Frame Designer

Cassidy Mark was brought in to Howard’s in 2024. Although newer to framing she has an excellent eye for color and textures that go well together. She received a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a focus in illustration and painting. She is likely the creator behind our fun social media posts as well!

Custom Frame Designer and Airbrush Instructor

David Monet has been instructing or working at Howard’s since 2005. He has taught airbrush illustration classes for over 40 years. David enjoys framing many things but he has a lot of knowledge about military history. He also is our main frame cutter/joiner.
