David Bottini
My work as a painter and a freelance designer with over 36 years teaching in a variety of learning communities has nurtured and cultivated my commitment to the power of art education.
Making art fuels my reserve of energy and engages my creative curiosity. With 37 years teaching experience, I enjoy interacting with students in a classroom/studio and engaging a variety of student learning styles.
My painting practice captures my passion for landscape and atmospheric effect, as inspired by my Italian grandfather, Gabriel.
I use the painting signature "Gabriel" as a dedication to the enduring affects of my Italian grandfather on his interest in nature and appreciation of the world around him.
My paintings are honed under a focused studio process with my goal of capturing a specific moment of solitude surrounded in nature that aligns with the Romantic, Realist, tradition.
I exhibit throughout the US in art galleries and juried exhibits.

Isa Kern
I am an abstract painter located in Frederick, Maryland. After growing up in Western Pennsylvania, I completed a BA in studio art with a minor in art history at Messiah University.
My work is a meditative reflection on the intersections of spirituality, identity, and personal history. Much of my inspiration stems from the ongoing tension between the belief systems I encountered in childhood and the evolving values of my adult life. Through vibrant color and textured layers, I aim to create immersive pieces that invite introspection and curiosity.

Rosemarie Valsoaney
I’m a mixed-media artist working in abstract realism, creating quiet stories that explore the connection between humans, animals, and nature. Through symbolism and layered imagery, my paintings reflect hope, peace, love, and the quiet strength found in every living thing.
I began my creative career as a children’s illustrator and book designer. As my artistic journey evolved, I immersed myself in the study of the great masters, learning how light, composition, and emotion work together to create meaningful art. Later, through the Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute, I further refined my artistic voice and approach to mixed-media storytelling.
Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, I blend realism with abstraction to create layered, dreamlike pieces that invite viewers to slow down, look closer, and discover meaning beyond what first meets the eye.
Every painting is an invitation to pause, reconnect with nature, and remember the beauty, hope, and healing that surround us and live within us.

I draw in an effort to portray reality in a way that focuses on beauty, humor, and intriguing elements that I see.
My favorite mediums to work with are graphite pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, and colored pencil and I do some of my work on the computer, creating digital drawings for my clients.
