Come spend a fun and creative afternoon with me as we welcome the beautiful colors of fall!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own leaf composition—no drawing skills required! We’ll talk about what makes a pleasing composition, and I’ll show you a simple technique for arranging  leaves to create a design that is uniquely yours.

Before we begin painting, we’ll practice the wet-in-wet technique, learning how to blend and merge beautiful watercolor paints to create the vibrant, rich colors of autumn.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a painting you created from your own composition—and a new understanding of how to plan and create a watercolor painting from start to finish.

Bio: Creativity has always been part of my journey, but discovering watercolor painting in my later years transformed my life. I was immediately drawn to the vibrancy, transparency, and how the pigment moved freely across the paper.

To refine and develop my skills, I committed to more than three years of study with acclaimed watercolor artist David J Rogers of Morro Bay, CA. Under his mentorship, I developed my artist style and gained the confidence to flourish as a professional artist. Since then, I have launched my website, completed numerous custom commissions, and participate in 6-8 art events each year —where I truly enjoy connecting with the people who visit my booth.

I believe deeply in the transformative power of art, as watercolor has re-energized my spirit while deepening my connection with God. It brings me great joy to encourage others to explore watercolors and have fun as they discover their creativity and grow in their artist journey.
