Explore Under the Sea (ages 6-10)

Keep cool with a week of fun ocean-themed art projects! Students will learn construction and animatronic techniques as they build and decorate a milk-carton boat, an "underwater" shoebox aquarium complete with papier-mâché sea creatures, and an articulating octopus puppet. The perfect class for children who enjoy building and decorating.

Camp Dates: Aug. 6th - Aug. 9th

Times: 10am-12:30pm

Ages: 6-10

Cost: $125 +$28 supply fee (required)

Registration Fee: $25* (will be applied to cost of class on first day)

Teacher: Kate Rader

About the teacher: Kate Rader is the former owner and creative director of Hagerstown Magazine. She holds a BFA from Shepherd University in Graphic Design and Photography, and has spent her career in the field of Visual Arts. She has instructed children of all ages — from elementary school to college — and is passionate about sharing her creative techniques and love of art with young people.
